Louisville women’s basketball coach Jeff Walz has been named as one of 10 semifinalists for the Naismith Trophy Coach of the Year award. Walz has led the Cardinals to a 27-3 record this season and a number four ranking in the Associated Press Women’s Top 25 poll. Louisville begins play in the ACC Women’s Tournament Friday against either Syracuse or Virginia.
