Hopkinsville saw its season end last night falling to one of the tournament favorites in Hendeson County 71-23. Shaterrea Bellamy was the only double figure scorer for Hopkinsville with 10 points. Henderson County hit 10 three pointers and were led in scoring by Sadie Wurth with 17 points. The Lady Tigers end the season 15-16 while Henderson County improved to 20-7.
The first game saw Trigg County win a 2nd region tournament game for the first time in 30 years, upsetting Caldwell County 54-50. Trigg County improved to 25-8 while Caldwell County concluded the season 16-15. Henderson County will meet Trigg County in the second semifinal game Friday night at 7:30 in Lyle Dunbar Gym.
