The Dyslexia Association of the Pennyrile is ready for their biggest fundraiser of the year with Trivia Night set to take place Friday at the War Memorial Building.
It will take place with dinner starting at 6 p.m. and trivia to get underway at 7 p.m., with Director Vicky Jones saying the winning team gets the grand prize of $1,000.
She says there will be 8 categories of questions covering a variety of topics.
Jones says the community has always been very generous, and the money raised from this event will go towards helping provide screenings, tutoring programs and more for those struggling with dyslexia.
This year, participants are encouraged to dress up and add to the fun—costumes can reflect themes such as favorite book, television or movie characters, sports teams and more. Tickets and corporate sponsorships can be purchased by contacting the Dyslexia Association of the Pennyrile at 270-885-5804.
