Hopkinsville native and Murray State senior Austin Knight led the way in the first day of play for the Racer men’s golf team at the Gulf Coast Intercollegiate in Diamondhead, Mississippi. Knight carded scores of 78-71=149 and had a spot in 12th place in the field of 56 players. Murray State is 611 as a team heading into today’s final round with the University of New Orleans leading at 576.
