Princeton man charged with DUI following crash

The Princeton Police Department has arrested a Princeton resident on charges of DUI following a collision on Maple Avenue Sunday.

According to a news release, officers responded to Cherry Street for reports of a suspicious subject and made contact with 39-year old John Mahaffey of Princeton.  He was allegedly under the influence of some type of intoxicant and investigation determined he was allegedly involved in a vehicular collision that occurred earlier in the day on Maple Avenue.

Mahaffey was arrested and charged DUI and leaving the scene of an accident. He was additionally served with a warrant for probation violation.
