The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has arrested a Stewart County man on child abuse charges.
TBI agents began investigating the assault of a three-year old boy after he was hospitalized Thursday following an incident at a Hidden Hollow Drive home in Dover. As a result of the investigation, agents developed information leading to 26-year old Stephen Mitchell Woolman as the individual allegedly responsible for injuring his step-son.
Woolman was arrested and charged with one count of aggravated child abuse.
