The Christian County Health Department says it’s working with local, state, and federal entities to stay up to date on the Coronavirus.
A news release says Kentucky and Christian County have currently been assessed to be at low risk, however, throughout Kentucky, flu continues to be widespread and has caused many schools to close.
As a precautionary for any illness, the Christian County Health Department recommends all citizens to wash your hands with soap and water. They say cover your nose and mouth with a tissue when coughing and sneezing, stay home if you are sick and to get your flu shot.
Christian County Health Department Dierctor Kayla Bebout says, “We will provide more information if we feel the risk level for our community and state has risen.”
