Eleven people have submitted applications to become the next superintendent of the Christian County Public School System.
The superintendent screening committee received 11 applications, according to information from the Kentucky Association of School Administrators. There are 10 applicants from Kentucky and one out of state applicant and three have superintendent experience.
The committee will now begin the process of screening the applications and the names of the candidates are not being released at this time.
Superintendent Mary Ann Gemmill is retiring at the end of the school year.
