Kobe Bryant was remembered following his death last month as the Staples Center hosted a celebration of life for the former Los Angeles Lakers star Monday. Michael Jordan, Shaquille O’Neal and Kobe’s wife, Vanessa, all gave speeches. She is also suing the helicopter company who employed the pilot.

In women’s college basketball, Oregon’s Sabrina Ionescu became the first player, male or female, in NCAA history to reach 2,000 points, 1,000 rebounds and 1,000 assists. Ionescu reached the milestone with a rebound in the third quarter in the third-ranked Ducks’ game with fourth ranked Stanford. Earlier in the day, Ionescu spoke at the memorial service for Kobe Bryant and daughter Gianna.

The 2020 NFL Scouting Combine is underway in Indianapolis. Projected top pick, quarterback Joe Burrow from LSU drew headlines after getting measured for his small hands. No first-round quarterback since 2008 has smaller hands than Burrow, who joked about it on social media. On-field workouts at Lucas Oil Stadium start Thursday.
