McDonald’s and Indian Hills Elementary School are teaming up to host McTeacher’s Night at the West Seventh Street location on Thursday to help support the school.
Manager Lasonya Arnold says that from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Thursday, 20 percent of sales will be donated to Indian Hills.
Teresa Copeland says they’ve done this in the past for other schools and would like to continue helping out where they can in the future.
Indian Hills Elementary Principal Tonya Oakley says the money raised will go to help provide rewards for students and support reading programs.
Restaurant goers will be waited on by teachers and other school staff, which will give them a chance to get to know some of the educators in the community. For more information about McTeacher’s Night, call McDonald’s at 270-885-0021.
