Veteran WHOP broadcaster Jeff Sisk will become the station’s sixth general manager when Mike Chadwell retires next month.
Sisk has served in numerous capacities during his over 37 years at WHOP, including his current capacity as programming director, and says it’s a great honor to be chosen to lead the station.
You will continue to hear Sisk on the WHOP airwaves, he will continue to serve as the play-by-play voice for Hopkinsville High School and University Heights Academy sports and he says listeners won’t notice much in the way of changes.
Most importantly, Sisk says WHOP will continue to serve the community as it has over the last eight decades.
Chadwell, who has worked at WHOP for 43 years, will retire March 27.
