Hopkinsville City Council is now accepting applications from citizens who might be interested in filling the now vacant city council seat for Ward 6.
Wendell Lynch was sworn in as Hopkinsville’s 27th mayor Sunday afternoon, and the seat he once held in Ward 6 is open and residents of Ward 6 can send in applications for the spot if they feel they would be a good fit. Those interested in applying can obtain application information on the City’s website or by contacting the City Clerk’s Office at 270-890-0210.
Applications must be received by the City Clerk’s Office by 4:30 p.m. on March 5.
