Racers blow 27 point lead at EIU

Murray State saw a 27 point lead disappear at Eastern Illinois last night, falling 63-60. The Racers held the Panthers to just 17 points in the first half and were outscored 46-28 in the second half including the three point shot from Josiah Wallace with four tenths of a second left that won the game.

Hopkinsville’s Jaqualis Matlock was held scoreless in the contest. Murray State is now 12-3 in OVC play which puts them in second place and 19-8 overall as they play at SIU Edwardsville tomorrow.
