Tennessee fugitives arrested in Guthrie

Two fugitives from Tennessee were arrested Wednesday evening in Guthrie.

Guthrie Police Chief Dean Blumel and Officer Eric Pinkett went to a Norris Street home to locate 35-year old Joshua Bryant and 26-year old Katie Marie Cornelius.

The resident of the home initially said they were not there, but police were given consent to search and found Cornelius in a back bedroom and Bryant hiding in a bathroom.

Bryant was served with a Montgomery County warrant for methamphetamine distribution, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.

Cornelius was served with a warrant for probation violation.

Both were lodged in the Todd County Jail and are awaiting extradition back to Tennessee.
