Murray State fell to Western Kentucky 7-6 Wednesday afternoon at Nick Denes Field in Bowling Green. WKU opened up the game scoring five times in the first inning in holding on for the win. The Racers are 0-4 and open the home portion of their season tomorrow with a 3 pm game against Saint Peter’s at Johnny Reagan Field.
WKU is 3-1 and hosts Wright State tomorrow afternoon at 3 in Bowling Green.
Austin Peay begins play today in the SAF Dirt Classic at Raymond C. Hand Park in Clarksville. The Governors host Missouri State at 3 pm today and will play Samford tomorrow, Bradley Saturday and Evansville on Sunday.
