The Cincinnati Reds have 10 outfielders in spring training competing for jobs after signing free agents Nick Castellanos and Takumi Akiyama to upgrade the offense. Scott Schebler, who hit 30 homers in 2017 but struggled last season with injuries and needing labrum surgery in August, is one of those battling for a spot on the opening day roster. Cincinnati will play its first Cactus League game Saturday against Cleveland in Goodyear.
