Kentucky Sports Radio reports sources as saying Kentucky has made a counter offer to associate head coach and recruiting coordinator Vince Marrow. The report indicates Kentucky’s offer is “essentially equivalent” to the offer Michigan State has prepared. UK coach Mark Stoops returned from a recruiting trip one day early on Thursday to talk with Marrow about staying in Lexington. Earlier this week, new Michigan State coach Mel Tucker made an offer to Marrow about becoming the Spartans new recruiting coordinator.
