Retired Christian County Attorney Mike Foster was recently appointed as a special justice to the Kentucky Supreme Court.
Governor Andy Beshear appointed Foster on January 13 after First District Justice Shea Nickell and another justice recused themselves from a case that was heard earlier this month.
Foster retired at the end of August, 2019 after over 40 years of service to Christian County government, including 38 years as county attorney.
He continues to serve on many area boards and organizations and continues to practice law at his local firm.
