The 16 Regional Players of the Year and Mr. and Miss Basketball finalists were announced by the Kentucky Basketball Coaches Association today.
The 2nd Region Players of the Year are Emilee Hope from Henderson County and Kenny White of Madisonville. Voting by coaches and media will run through February 21st with the winners for Mr. and Miss Basketball to be announced April 6th in a ceremony at Marriott Griffin Gate in Lexington.
The KABC also announced the Regional Coaches of the Year. The 2nd Region Boys honors are shared by Jon Newton of Webster County and Matt Beshear of Madisonville. The 2nd Region Girls Coach of the Year is Cory Coble of Trigg County.
