Cincinnati Reds pitchers and catchers report to spring training today in Goodyear, AZ. Reds broadcaster Jeff Brantley says he’s anxious to see how well Reds pitchers fare in the 2020 season:
Pitchers and catchers will have their first workout Saturday with the remainder of the squad to join them next week on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, the Reds signed infielder Derek Dietrich to a minor league contract with an invitation to big league spring training camp. He became a free agent in November after hitting .187 with 19 homers and 43 RBIs in 113 games last season with Cincinnati.
