Pairings for the KHSAA Boys and Girls Sweet 16 tournaments were unveiled today.
Boys: Games on Wednesday March 18th include the 2nd Region facing the 4th region and the 1st Region goes against the 10th region. On Thursday March 19th, the 3rd Region goes against the 15th Region. Quarterfinal games are on Friday March 20th, semifinal games on March 21st and the final on Sunday, March 22nd.
Girls: All four of the Western Kentucky regions will open play on Thursday March 12th as the 2nd Region meets the 1st Region, the 4th Region faces the 16th Region and the 3rd region goes against the 10th Region. Quarterfinal games are on Friday, March 13th, semifinal games are on March 14th and the final is on March 15th.
Times for opening round games will be announced later. Both tournaments will be played at Rupp Arena this year.
