The 1st Region Wrestling Championship was held Saturday at Trigg County High School. Union County won the team title with Christian County finishing second, Hopkinsville was sixth with Fort Campbell 11th. Christian County had a champion in Jakerion Merritt at 145 and Niko Bussell was first at 220. Zlatko Kuljan was Hopkinsville’s best finisher in second at 160.
