Western Kentucky routed Louisiana Tech 65-54 at EA Diddle Arena. The Hilltoppers built a 20-point halftime lead and stymied the Bulldogs on defense all night. Three players scored in double figures in the win led by Jordan Rawls with 19 points. WKU is now 15-8 overall and 8-3 in Conference USA tied with Louisiana Tech for second place and one game behind front runner North Texas. Southern Miss comes to Diddle Arena for a Saturday evening game with pregame at 6 on News Radio 95.3 FM/1230 AM WHOP.
WKU’s Lady Toppers had to grind out an 84-75 win at Louisiana Tech. The Lady Toppers improve to 15-6 on the season and 7-3 in Conference USA, moving to fourth place in the league standings. WKU has won five-straight games and have seven of their last eight and return to action tomorrow afternoon at Southern Miss.
