Jacksonville State is the favorite to win the Ohio Valley Conference this season. In the preseason poll the coaches and sports information directors in the league have Austin Peay picked third and Murray State is fifth. Austin Peay outfielder Garrett Spain and Murray State outfielder Brock Anderson were named to the All OVC Preseason Team. Murray State opens its season next weekend at Southern Miss and Austin Peay begins its season hosting Eastern Michigan beginning next Friday.
