Todd County is celebrating its bicentennial in 2020 and organizers hope everyone in the community will support their efforts.
Darlene Groves owns Something Special on the Historic Public Square and is coordinating bicentennial events. She says the big kickoff event will be Saturday, April 18 at Todd County Central High School and she’s hopeful everyone in the community will find a way to participate or attend an event this year.
She says it’s their goal to teach and learn Todd County’s history in a variety of ways.
Groves says you can volunteer, participate in an event, sing in the community choir or just attend the celebrations.
A list of bicentennial events will be updated throughout the year on the Todd County Chamber of Commerce website at toddchamber.com.
