Christian County broke out to a 19-2 lead at the end of the first quarter and went on to rout University Heights Academy 51-26. Amari Brown led the Lady Colonels with 13 points with Destinee Catlett-Watkins adding 11 in improving to 8-13 and 4-1 in 8th district play.
University Heights got seven points each from Meghan Adams and Anaiah Dailey to lead their scoring efforts. The Lady Blazers have now lost nine games in a row in falling to 5-15 overall and 1-4 in 8th district games. UHA plays at Lyon County Saturday, while Christian County hosts Trigg County Friday night.
