Sen. McConnell Says He Will Vote No On Removing President Trump From Office

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell says Democrats have been trying to remove President Trump since even before he began his first term.

Speaking on the Senate floor, the Kentucky Republican said that it’s an insult to Americans to claim that House Democrats brought articles of impeachment against the President reluctantly.

Senator McConnell says he’ll be voting later this week to acquit the President in the impeachment trial.

The final vote on whether to remove President Trump from office is expected Wednesday afternoon.
