Webb Simpson was one stroke better than Tony Finau in a playoff to take home the Phoenix Open at TPC Scottsdale. Simpson, who birdied the final two holes of regulation, and Finau finished 17-under for the tournament to force the playoff. Simpson finished the playoff hole with a birdie while Finau took par. Louisville area native Justin Thomas, Nate Lashley and Bubba Watson tied for third at 14-under.
