Motorcyclist injured in Murray collision

The Murray Police Department is investigating a wreck involving a motorcyclist the sent a man to the hospital Sunday.

According to a news release, officers responded to the intersection of Frontage Road and Keepers Way for reports of a vehicle versus motorcycle collision.  Investigation determined that vehicle driven by 66-year old Brenda Hosford was turning left out of a gas station parking lot, when other vehicles allowed her to exit.

She pulled out of the parking lot and was reportedly unable to see a motorcycle operated by 35-year old Edward Pettis, and struck the side of it.

Pettis was transported to a local hospital for treatment of injuries.
