On February 8, this coming Saturday, participants in an event taking place in Oak Grove will have a chance to exercise their detective skills in a “Murder Mystery Dinner” at Valor Hall.
The dinner event, with the theme of “Best Laid Plans”, will feature food, sophisticated dress and an interactive show that will take audience members through a murder mystery in an attempt to solve the crime. Katie Ludke with Oak Grove Tourism says this kick off at 5:30 p.m. at the Valor Hall Event Center Saturday, and while dressing up isn’t required, there are cash prizes available to those who are best-dressed.
Tickets are $40 per person and Ludke says that includes the dinner, hosted by Four Seasons Catering, and the professional actors will perform what she calls a ‘live action game of Clue’.
Tickets can be purchased online by going through the Murder Mystery Dinner event page, on the Oak Grove Tourism Commission Facebook page. They will not be available for purchase at the door. For more information, call the Tourism Commission at 270-439-5675.
