Investigation Wednesday by the Hopkinsville-Christian County Drug and Violent Crimes Task Force led to the arrest of a man for alleged methamphetamine trafficking.
A Christian County Sheriff’s Deputy stopped 26-year old Trever Gernon for a traffic violation and a search of the vehicle allegedly revealed three ounces of meth, a handgun, digital scales and other drug paraphernalia.
He was charged with possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, trafficking in meth and possession of drug paraphernalia.
