A local woman was injured in a rear-end collision involving three vehicles Wednesday afternoon on Lafayette Road.
A collision report from Hopkinsville police says 24-year old Simone Shields of Hopkinsville was stopped behind a car driven by 33-year old Brittanie Bogard as Bogard waited for traffic to pass so she could make a left turn onto Koffman Drive.
Shields was rear-ended by another northbound car operated by 32-year old Tashara Croney of Hopkinsville, who said she slid on the wet pavement when she tried to stop.
Croney was taken by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for arm and chest pain, while everyone else involved refused a trip to the hospital.
