Man charged with sexual abuse against small child

A Hopkinsville man has been arrested for sexual abuse against a small child.

An arrest warrant for first-degree sexual abuse alleges 23-year old Cristian Roman of Hopkinsville subjected a six-year old male victim to sexual contact in the fall of 2015.

The alleged incident happened at the home of the victim’s babysitter and Kentucky State Police say Roman admitted to the offense after the victim came forward.

Roman was lodged in the Christian County Jail on a $5,000 bond.
