Former Christian County Sheriff Livy Leavell has received a clean audit of his 2018 tax settlement.
Auditor Mike Harmon released his audit report Thursday noting, “The former sheriff’s financial statement fairly presents the taxes charged, credited and paid for the period April 17, 2018 through December 31, 2018 in conformity with the regulatory basis of accounting.”
The auditor noted no instances of noncompliance and no matters involving internal control over financial reporting and its operation that were considered to be material weaknesses.
