Hopkinsville ended Christian County’s seven game winning streak with a 66-49 win at the Toyota of Hopkinsville Showcase. The Lady Tigers used a 13-0 second quarter run to open up the game and led 30-18 at the half. Hopkinsville got a game high 26 points from LaKayla Samuel with Jakayla Epps adding 12 as the Lady Tigers improved to 10-10 overall and 4-1 in 8th district play. Hopkinsville travels to Henderson County Tuesday night.
Christian County got 13 points from Destinee Catlett-Watkins and 11 from Eniya McGee in falling to 5-10 and 1-1 in 8th district games. The Lady Colonels welcome Henderson County for a 5:30 game Saturday evening.
