Keegan Bradley and Sebastian Cappelen share the lead after the first round of the PGA Tour’s Farmers Insurance Open. Bradley and Cappelen both carded six-under 66’s in Thursday’s opening round at Torrey Pines. Tiger Woods and Nashville’s Brandt Snedeker each fired a three-under 69 and are tied for 21st place. Rory McIlroy is among a large group tied for third at five-under. Campbellsville native JB Holmes is tied for 11th at four under par 68.
Princeton’s Emma Talley had an opening round three over 75 Thursday at the LPGA Tour’s Gainbridge LPGA at Boca Rio in Boca Raton, FL. Talley recorded four bogies, a double bogey and three birdies. Play was suspended due to darkness with Jessica Korda leading at six under 66.
