The local Art Guild will again host its Be MY SweetART event next month.
It will be Friday, February 7th from 4 until 7 p.m. at the Hopkinsville Art Guild gallery on East Sixth Street. A news release says attendees will be able to choose from treats to take home to celebrate Valentine’s Day. They will also enjoy live music, art, appetizers, they can register to win door prizes and take a picture in a selfie photo booth.
At least 25 area food businesses have contributed food donations that attendees can sample and make a goodie box. Jim Garnett will be providing music during the event.
The funds raised through the sale of tickets will be used to provide area visual artists opportunities to develop their skills and exhibit their work. They also provide area children with free opportunities to explore creative expression through several events.
Tickets are limited and available at the Hopkinsville Art Gallery during regular business hours.
