Unemployment was down slightly from November to December in Kentucky.
Kentucky’s seasonally adjusted preliminary December unemployment rate was 4.3 percent, according to the Kentucky Center for Statistics. That was down a tenth of a point from the 4.4 percent recorded for the state in November.
The U.S. seasonally adjusted jobless rate for December was 3.5 percent, unchanged from November 2019, according to the U.S. Department of Labor.
