One of the two men charged in the murder of a man on Bennett Drive in Clarksville on January 15 is now in custody, and the other remains in the hospital.
As previously reported, 34-year old Decory Smith and 35-year old Marc Crowder allegedly went to home of 32-year old Desergio Taylor and went into the residence. Once inside, they allegedly got into a gunfight with Taylor, with all three men sustaining gunshot wounds. Taylor would die of his injuries, while Crowder and Smith reportedly took themselves to the hospital for treatment.
Crowder was released from the hospital Thursday and taken into custody. He is charged with criminal homicide and no bond has been set. Smith remains in the hospital in stable condition and will also be arrested upon release.
