Titans DC Pees retires/Tannehill & Casey headed to Pro Bowl

Tennessee Titans defensive coordinator Dean Pees announced his retirement Monday, one day after the Titans lost to Kansas City in the AFC Championship game. Pees just concluded his second season with the Titans as defensive coordinator, and his 47th year in coaching in 2019.

Quarterback Ryan Tannehill and defensive lineman Jurrell Casey are headed to the Pro Bowl. Both are replacing members of the Kansas City Chiefs who cannot participate as they prepare for the Super Bowl. Tannehill replaces Patrick Mahomes while Casey takes Chris Jones’ spot. The Pro Bowl is this Sunday in Orlando, FL.
