A small child was flown to an Indiana hospital following an accident involving two tractors Monday night in Crofton.
Two tractors were headed east on Crofton-Fruithill Road near the Pennyrile Parkway interchange when the front tractor slowed to turn left into a private driveway. The driver of the rear tractor attempted to pass the front one on the right and their tires collided, according to Christian County Sheriff’s Sgt. Brandon Myers.
He says a 5-year old child in the rear tractor was ejected in the collision and was flown to a hospital in Evansville with injuries that did not appear to be life-threatening.
No one else reported any injuries in the crash.
