One of the top programs in the state, Boyle County, has named Justin Haddix as its new football coach. Haddix replaces Chuck Smith, who recently announced his retirement following a second stint as Rebels coach. Haddix had been head coach at Corbin, where he led the Redhounds to back-to-back Class 4-A state runner-up finishes in 2017 and 2018 and prior to that, he led Perry Central to a 26-20 record from 2010-2013. Haddix led Corbin to a 6-5 record in the 2019 season.
