A Bowling Green man was arrested Saturday morning in Hopkinsville after he allegedly violated a restraining order and broke into his ex-girlfriend’s home.
The 23-year old female victim called ECC and said she believed a truck belonging to her ex-boyfriend, 26-year old Tyler Foust of Bowling Green, was parked at a church near her home. She has an emergency protective order against Foust requiring him to stay away and to not make contact and the victim was able to show police where he had sent multiple messages to her and called on the phone 30 times.
When police went with her to her home, all of the blinds were closed and a spare key was missing.
Foust climbed out of a bedroom window when police went inside and was placed under arrest for second-degree burglary and for violation of an EPO.
