Hoptown ends six game losing skid with win over South Warren

The Hopkinsville Tigers ended a six game losing streak Saturday afternoon defeating South Warren 70-64 in Tiger Gym. The Tigers led by as many as 17 points, 57-40, at the end of the third quarter and watched South Warren erase almost all of the lead before pulling out the win. Don VIctor hit five three pointers for the second straight game and had a game high 22 points for the Tigers. He was followed by Authur McKnight with 16, Daisjuan Mercer added 13 and Reece Jesse pitched in 10. The Tigers are now 8-12 and play at Fort Campbell Tuesday night.

South Warren was led by Caden Veltkamp’s 21 points in falling to 11-7 and they play at Warren Central Tuesday night.
