University of Kentucky radio broadcaster Tom Leach has been selected as the Kentucky Sportscaster of the Year by the National Sports Media Association. The Tennessee Sportscaster of the Year is Pete Weber, the radio voice of the Nashville Predators. In addition, the NSMA announced legendary University of Kentucky broadcaster Cawood Ledford will be placed in the group’s Hall of Fame. Ledford-who was UK’s radio voice for 39 years, died in 2001.
