Hopkinsville police are investigating an attempted robbery at the East Ninth Street Dollar General Saturday night.
Hopkinsville Police Sgt. Ed Eastman says a young light-skinned black female entered the store about 8:30 p.m. armed with a taser.
She threatened employees, went behind the counter and unsuccessfully attempted to get into the cash register, before entering the back office in a failed attempt to unplug security cameras.
The suspect did not get away with any cash and no one was injured.
