Murray State splits doubleheader with Jacksonville State

Tevin Brown had 24 points as Murray State edged Jacksonville State 72-68 last night. Former Christian County standout DeTorrion Ware had 15 points and seven rebounds in 23 minutes off the bench for the Gamecocks. The Racers are 10-5/3-0 in OVC play and visit Tennessee Tech tomorrow. The Gamecocks are 7-9 and 2-1 in the OVC and welcome Austin Peay tomorrow.

The women’s game saw Jacksonville State defeat Murray State 68-51. Murray State is 8-6 overall and 1-2 in the OVC.
