Unemployment fell from October to November in Christian, Todd and Trigg counties.
Christian County’s November 2019 jobless rate was 4.8 percent, down from 6 percent in December, but up from 4.1 percent one year ago.
That equated to 1,223 people who were looking for work, but unable to find it.
Todd and Trigg counties were tied with Crittenden and Hopkins counties for the lowest jobless rate in the Pennyrile region at 3.8 percent.
Todd’s rate was down from 4.3 percent in October, but up from 2.9 percent 12 months ago.
Trigg’s number was down from 4.5 percent in October, but up from 3.6 percent in November of 2018.
The statewide average was 3.8 percent and the national average was 3.3 percent.
