University Heights used a 12-0 run in the first quarter and never looked back in defeating Christian County 77-50 Tuesday night. The Blazers had four players in double figure scoring led by DJ Quarles with 24 points followed by KJ Crump with 20, Amari McGee added 14 and Will Bryan pitched in 10 points. Christian County had one double figure scorer in Stephan Bussell, who had a game high 25 points. University Heights defeated Christian County for the sixth straight time dating back to 2018 in improving to 6-8 and 2-0 in district play while the Colonels fell to 6-9 overall and 1-1 in the district.
Girls: University Heights lost at Trigg County 58-47. The Lady Blazers lost for the fourth straight game in falling to 5-9. Trigg County improved to 13-2 on the season. UHA welcomes Hopkinsvilel Friday night.
