Craig Smith and Rocco Grimaldi scored in the third to force extra time but it wasn’t enough as the Anaheim Ducks outscored the Nashville Predators in the shootout to win 5-4. Smith also scored on a power play in regulation. Filip Forsberg was the lone Predator to find the back of the net in the shootout as they lost for the fourth time in five games. Nashville hosts the Boston Bruins tomorrow night at Bridgestone Arena.
